Special Terms and Conditions for Seminars

These Special Terms and Conditions for Seminar Offers supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Laserworld AG when booking educational services such as seminars or courses.

§1 Booking
The booking of participation in an educational service is binding.

§2 Cancellation
If the registration is cancelled, cancellation fees in the amount of 20% of the course fee apply. 
If the registration is cancelled no later than 10 days before the start of the event, cancellation fees in the amount of 50% of the course fee apply.
In case of non-appearance on the day of the event without prior cancellation, the full course fee will be due.

§3 Cancellation, cancellation of the event
If the minimum number of participants for a scheduled event is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the event up to 5 days before the start of the event. In this case, the participation fees will be refunded.

§4 Participation without registration

Participation in a seminar offering without timely prior written registration is not possible. The seminar leader is free to exclude non-registered persons from participation in the seminar.

Participants who attend a seminar without prior registration (tolerated or approved by the seminar leader) will be charged a processing fee of 80 € incl. 19% VAT in addition to the last-minute seminar fees. 

§5 Participation fee and refund

The participation fee for the events must be paid in advance and secures the participant a place for the respective event. After registration, the course fee must be transferred in such a way that payment is received before the date of the event.
In the event that the participant is unable to attend, in particular due to illness or force majeure, the participation fee will not be refunded. This applies regardless of whether a medical certificate is presented.
It is possible to transfer the booked place to another person after consultation, provided this is communicated in good time before the start of the event.
In exceptional cases, a rebooking to another event can be made, but this is at the sole discretion of the organizer and is subject to availability.
The participant is free to take out suitable insurance in advance in the event of non-participation.
